Privacy Policy
The short version: PlugView collects no personal data. The app has no account, no advertising, no analytics and no server. Your settings, LUTs, photos and recordings stay on your iPhone, and the camera connection runs only over the USB cable.

2. The app
Data on your iPhone
Your settings, imported LUTs, the overlay image and the photos and recordings you make with PlugView are stored inside the app on your iPhone. They are not transmitted to us or anyone else. Deleting the app removes them.
Camera connection
PlugView talks to your camera directly over the USB cable. The live picture and the camera's settings are processed on your iPhone only. The app does not need an internet connection and does not send anything to a server.
Permissions
- Camera: iOS requires this permission so PlugView can control the camera connected by USB. The iPhone's own cameras are not used.
- Microphone: only used when you record the live view (the sound goes into your recording) or turn on the volume button as a shutter. Both are off by default.
- Photos (add only): only used when you turn on “Copy to Photos”. PlugView can add photos and videos but cannot see your library.
Sharing the log
The app keeps a technical log of the camera connection (for example the camera model and which commands were sent). It stays on your iPhone. Only if you tap “Share Log” is it handed to the app or person you choose.
Support by email
If you write to us, we use your email address and message only to answer you (Art. 6(1)(b) and (f) GDPR) and delete them when they are no longer needed. Emails to addresses @getsleeponit.app are forwarded by Cloudflare to our mailbox.
App Store
Apple processes data when you download PlugView or make a purchase, under Apple's own privacy policy. We do not receive your payment details. If you have allowed it in your iPhone settings, Apple may share anonymous crash reports and usage statistics with us.
3. This website
This website is hosted by Cloudflare, Inc. (USA). When you visit it, Cloudflare processes technical data such as your IP address, the time of the request, the page requested and your browser type in order to deliver the site and protect it against attacks (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). Transfers to the USA are based on the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework and Standard Contractual Clauses. The website uses no cookies, no tracking and no external fonts.
4. Your rights
You have the right to access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, data portability and objection (Art. 15–21 GDPR). Write to support@getsleeponit.app. You can also lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority.
5. Changes
We update this policy when the app or the website changes. The current version is always available on this page.

Kurz gesagt: PlugView erhebt keine personenbezogenen Daten. Die App hat kein Konto, keine Werbung, keine Analyse und keinen Server. Deine Einstellungen, LUTs, Fotos und Aufnahmen bleiben auf deinem iPhone, und die Verbindung zur Kamera läuft nur über das USB-Kabel.

2. Die App
Daten auf deinem iPhone
Deine Einstellungen, importierte LUTs, das Overlay-Bild sowie Fotos und Aufnahmen, die du mit PlugView machst, werden in der App auf deinem iPhone gespeichert. Sie werden weder an uns noch an andere übertragen. Löschst du die App, werden sie entfernt.
Verbindung zur Kamera
PlugView kommuniziert direkt über das USB-Kabel mit deiner Kamera. Livebild und Kameraeinstellungen werden nur auf deinem iPhone verarbeitet. Die App braucht keine Internetverbindung und sendet nichts an einen Server.
Berechtigungen
- Kamera: iOS verlangt diese Berechtigung, damit PlugView die per USB angeschlossene Kamera steuern kann. Die Kameras des iPhones werden nicht genutzt.
- Mikrofon: nur, wenn du das Livebild aufnimmst (der Ton landet in deiner Aufnahme) oder die Lautstärketaste als Auslöser einschaltest. Beides ist standardmäßig aus.
- Fotos (nur hinzufügen): nur, wenn du „Copy to Photos“ einschaltest. PlugView kann Fotos und Videos hinzufügen, deine Mediathek aber nicht sehen.
Protokoll teilen
Die App führt ein technisches Protokoll der Kameraverbindung (zum Beispiel Kameramodell und gesendete Befehle). Es bleibt auf deinem iPhone. Nur wenn du „Share Log“ tippst, wird es an die App oder Person übergeben, die du auswählst.
Support per E-Mail
Schreibst du uns, nutzen wir deine E-Mail-Adresse und Nachricht nur zur Beantwortung (Art. 6 Abs. 1 lit. b und f DSGVO) und löschen sie, wenn sie nicht mehr benötigt werden. E-Mails an Adressen @getsleeponit.app werden von Cloudflare an unser Postfach weitergeleitet.
App Store
Apple verarbeitet beim Download und bei Käufen Daten nach den eigenen Datenschutzbestimmungen. Deine Zahlungsdaten erhalten wir nicht. Hast du es in den iPhone-Einstellungen erlaubt, kann Apple uns anonyme Absturzberichte und Nutzungsstatistiken bereitstellen.
3. Diese Website
Diese Website wird von Cloudflare, Inc. (USA) gehostet. Beim Besuch verarbeitet Cloudflare technische Daten wie deine IP-Adresse, Zeitpunkt, aufgerufene Seite und Browsertyp, um die Seite auszuliefern und vor Angriffen zu schützen (Art. 6 Abs. 1 lit. f DSGVO). Übermittlungen in die USA erfolgen auf Grundlage des EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework und der Standardvertragsklauseln. Die Website verwendet keine Cookies, kein Tracking und keine externen Schriftarten.
4. Deine Rechte
Du hast das Recht auf Auskunft, Berichtigung, Löschung, Einschränkung der Verarbeitung, Datenübertragbarkeit und Widerspruch (Art. 15–21 DSGVO). Schreib uns an support@getsleeponit.app. Außerdem kannst du dich bei einer Datenschutz-Aufsichtsbehörde beschweren.

Wir passen diese Erklärung an, wenn sich App oder Website ändern. Die aktuelle Fassung findest du immer auf dieser Seite.
